Challenge Paddle Divisions
For this year's festival, ten Challenge Paddle Divisions have been created. Read the divisions below to help you out in determining where your team fits. In addition, the Frank Potocnik Challenger Paddle is awarded to the First Place Team of the festival! Division | Description | | Business | Teams sponsored by, working for, affiliated with small, medium and large businesses. | | Clubs & Associations | Teams that represent community groups, service clubs and other associations. | | Community Services | Teams sponsored by, working for, affiliated with organizations that service the community at large, and including not-for-profit. | | Financial & Legal | Teams sponsored by, working for, affiliated with banks, investment, insurance, accounting or law firms. | | Friends & Family | Teams including friends and family joining together to form a team. Teams with no specific affiliation with any other Challenge Division. | | Non-Challenge Category | Team wishing NOT to participate in the challenge paddle. | | Government | Teams sponsored by, working for, affiliated with Municipal, Provincial, Federal, First Nations levels of government. | | Health Care | Teams sponsored by, working for, affiliated with business and associations dealing in the health care field, hospitals, medical clinics, ambulance, police, fire services, medical or dental offices. | | Industry | Teams sponsored by, working for, affiliated with larger corporate companies. | | Women's | Teams that are solely made up of female paddlers. | Note: The Festival Committee reserves the right to modify the entry category which may be necessary to accommodate the event and Challenge Paddle Divisions.
