| The Thunder Bay Dragon Boat Festival takes place at Boulevard Lake in the East Side of Thunder Bay. To make your travel easy, just follow the directions detailed below: - From the United States;
- From Eastern Ontario; and
- From Western Ontario

FROM THE UNITED STATES Head east on Highway 61 towards Canada, crossing the Pigeon River border crossing. Once you enter Canada, Thunder Bay is approximately 35 miles east up Highway 61. When you pass the Thunder Bay Airport, continue heading up Highway 11-17 East until you reach Red River Road. Head South on Red River Road to the next intersection and turn left onto Junot Avenue. Following this road will lead you down River Street where you will eventually reach Algoma Street. Turn left at River and Algoma Streets and follow approximately one mile to Boulevard Lake. FROM EASTERN ONTARIO Head west on Highway 11-17 and turn left at Hodder Avenue (Hwy 11-17B). Follow Hodder Avenue approximately 4 kilometres until you reach Gibson Avenue on your right. Follow Gibson Avenue up the hill and Boulevard Lake will appear! FROM WESTERN ONTARIO Follow Highway 11-17 East towards Thunder Bay. Turn left onto Highway 102 and follow approximately 33 kilometres until you reach Red River Road. Head south on Red River Road to the next intersection and turn left onto Junot Avenue. Following this road will lead you down River Street where you will eventually reach Algoma Street. Turn left at River and Algoma Streets and follow approximately 1.6 kilometres to Boulevard Lake.
